My oldest daughter- KjeriAnne

Okay, so my oldest daughter wanted to know why all I talk about on my blog is my baby and my clay stuff.  She reminded me that I have 5 other kids I can brag about.  I always tell the older ones that when the cuteness wears off, I quit bragging about them.

Let me tell you though, that there are a lot of good things to say about Kjeri.  First of all, she is an awesome big sister.  A little moody but that's to be expected from a teenager.  She is always the littlest kids' favorite (when they're not scared to go near her...).

Kjeri is also a writer.  I've only read a little of what she's written because she's self-consious (hmm, I've been slacking in teaching English apparently), but what I have read has been great.  She's written a couple of books (novels) and she has read them all aloud to her younger sister, who loves them.  She's saving up for a computer so she can get them typed up and start revising.  I'm hoping to talk her into submitting them for publication eventually.  If that doesn't happen, maybe I can get here to start her own blog...

There are a million more things I could say about her- she's gorgeous and smart and helpful (sometimes) and, funny and, and, and...  But instead of going about her, I'll just share some photos:
This one was a year or two ago but is one of my favorites.  She seldom wears her glasses anymore...

An example of what a good big sister she is (eyeroll).  The one in front is 4yo Josie and the one next to Kjeri is 6yo Miri.

Occasionally she lets me take her picture.

All of my kids with my Grandma DeGiorgio last Christmas.  Clockwise from upper left.  Josie, Kjeri, Emmy, Sarah, Miri, Grandma, Eli

Okay so this one is about 6 years old (she was 8), but it's another of my favorites.  It's actually hanging on my living room wall.

Self-portrait.  This is one of her favorites.

Showing off the huckleberries we picked that year.  (No, we won't tell you where our spot is...)

Kjeri was in the delivery room when Josie was born.  They've been really close ever since.

Maybe I need to spotlight one of my family members every week...
